Agnus Castus, also known as Chasteberry or Vitex Agnus Castus, exerts a balancing effect on the activity of the female sex hormones, increasing progesterone levels and reducing prolactin. This activity may also be of benefit in those suffering from fibroids and endometriosis. Agnus Castus Tincture may also facilitate conception making it a popular choice for infertility.
Agnus Castus tincture may also benefit women going through the menopause where the bleed in very heavy and too frequent.
Dosage:
Take 15-20 drops of Agnus Castus Tincture three times daily.
Ingredients:
Each ml of oral liquid contains 895mg of tincture and is an extract of the fruit of Agnus castus (Vitex agnus-castus L.) (1:10). Ethanol 69.5% V/V.
Side Effects:
Not recommended whilst using oral contraceptives, HRT or other hormonal preparations. Not recommended for girls within two years of onset of menstruation. Not recommended whilst pregnant or breast feeding
